We were blessed with a fantastic sunset at the Giant’s Causeway. Words cannot express the beauty and happiness that a sunset here provides.

Each day, and each place that we’ve explored, has been wonderful, but this place at 10:00pm, on June 22nd, was nothing short of pure magic. I wish I could relive that night over and over again.

Getting to experience the Giant’s Causeway at sunset so close to the summer solstice makes you appreciate the the legends of this place.  It seems so unbelievable for it to just be a structure created in nature, by a volcanic eruption long ago.  Somehow it seems more fitting to believe the stories that tell of this place once being the home of a Giant by the name of Finn McCool.
